Chatter Chairs

Chatter Chairs is a new and innovative Brightlife funded project offering chair-based exercises to help reduce isolation for people aged 50+ years. Each session lasts 60 mins and moves are focused on building strength, flexibility and co-ordination using free weights and resistance equipment.

  • Improves muscle mass
  • Eases joint flexibility
  • Increases respiratory health
  • Strengthens bone density

£5 entry includes tea or coffee.

Pilates offers a low impact form of exercise for those looking to improve their core strength and also align, shape and tone the body.

This is a mixed ability class for beginners and improvers which also offers optional resistance equipment for those who want to increase muscle strength.

Long term improvements include enhanced flexibility, balance & co-ordination.
