Chatter Chairs

Chatter Chairs is a new and innovative Brightlife funded project offering chair-based exercises to help reduce isolation for people aged 50+ years. Each session lasts 45 mins and moves are focused on building strength, flexibility and co-ordination using free weights and resistance equipment.

  • Improves muscle mass
  • Eases joint flexibility
  • Increases respiratory health
  • Strengthens bone density

£3 entry includes tea or coffee.

Pilates offers a low impact form of exercise for those looking to improve their core strength and also align, shape and tone the body.

This is a mixed ability class for beginners and improvers which also offers optional resistance equipment for those who want to increase muscle strength.

Long term improvements include enhanced flexibility, balance & co-ordination.

I am passionate about helping the community understand the principals and benefits of good nutrition and a balanced diet. If you belong to a group, or know of one who could benefit, please get in touch to discuss this more.

This could be a one-off talk or a tailored program of talks specific to your group over several weeks.

  • Existing groups include:
  • Mother & Toddler groups
  • Over 55’s Luncheon groups
  • Weight loss groups
  • Pre-natal groups

Occasionally funding is available for disadvantaged community groups and charity events so please contact me if you would like to discuss this further.
